Before we get into how to use the Pulsar APX V2, we should first mention everything that’s included with this device. In addition to the vaporizer, here’s what you should receive in your box:

How To Charge The Pulsar APX V2’s Battery
Once you’ve got your Pulsar APX V2 out of the box, the first thing to do is charge the vaporizer’s 1600mAh lithium battery. You’ll have no difficulty finding this unit’s USB port on the bottom. Plug in the provided USB cord and wait about three hours for this initial charge to complete.
You can track the health of your vaporizer’s battery by looking at the symbol on the bottom of the LED screen. This battery icon will change into one of the following colors depending on how much battery life is left.
- Green: 100 – 60 percent charged
- Yellow: 60 – 20 percent charged
- Red: 20 – 0 percent charged
You should get about 5-6 vaping cycles on a fully charged Pulsar APX V2. It also takes roughly 90 minutes to charge a Pulsar APX V2 from 0 to 100 percent (excluding the initial charge).
How To Load A Pulsar APX V2
Now that your Pulsar APX V2 is fully charged, it’s time to load the heating chamber with your favorite finely ground dry herbs. To reach this vaporizer’s ceramic heating chamber, pop off the plastic mouthpiece on the top. Yes, that’s all there is to it!
The Pulsar APX V2’s ceramic chamber measures 10 x 16mm and can hold about 0.35 grams of dried herb. For the best results, Pulsar recommends loosely packing your herbs.
To improve the longevity of your Pulsar APX V2, please clean your loading chamber after every session. Be sure to use the provided cleaning brush to get rid of all the debris in the chamber.
How To Operate The Pulsar APX V2
The Pulsar APX V2 has an easy-to-use one-button operating system. You’ll find this button on the unit’s side directly above the LED screen.
To turn this dry herb vaporizer on and off, hit the main button five times within two seconds. Once the vaporizer is on, you will see the LED screen light up with the current battery life and one of the five temperature options.
To change the temperature setting on this vaporizer, hold the main button for about two seconds. Keep cycling through temp options until the one you want lights up on the LED screen. When you find your preferred temp, let go of the main button, and the Pulsar APX V2 will automatically start heating up. After 30 seconds, you’ll feel a vibration letting you know it’s time to vape.
Here are the five temperatures you could choose from on your Pulsar APX V2:
- 356° F
- 374° F
- 392° F
- 410° F
- 428° F
Although it’s not required, Pulsar recommends pausing for at least five seconds in-between each inhale. This will give the unit plenty of time to re-heat for a smoother vaping experience.
For your safety, the Pulsar APX V2 will automatically shut off after five minutes of use.
