Step 1. Locate the issue
“Why is my camera not working? – you’ll ask. There might be two reasons: either software or hardware problem. And the forst thing you need to do is to locate the issue.
First, start Facetime or any other video chatting app and try to make a video call to a friend of yours.
Check both iPhone cameras. If they work fine during the video call, you can be happy – it’s a software issue you can easily fix.

Step 2. Force the Camera app to close

- Turn off Camera location services. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location services and switch it off on the Camera app.
