How to Enable Floating Keyboard on iPad

Enable Floating Keyboard on iPad in iPadOS

Step #1: Launch any app that requires an on-screen keyboard like Notes, Messages, etc.Step #2: Then pinch-in the keyboard using two fingers.
The keyboard will go small, as shown in the picture. You can also adjust the keyboard on the screen wherever you want by dragging using the horizontal line at the middle-end of the keyboard.

Fix 2: Force close application
It might be possible that the particular application is troubling the iPad’s floating keyboard. Usually, this thing happens with third-party applications. So it is better to force close an app and re-launch it. Bring the App switcher on-screen and force close the application.
Fix 3: Reset All Settings
You may be wondering why to reset all settings when the problem is with the floating keyboard. However, when you reset all settings, all the customized settings are restored to factory settings. Therefore, if you have made any inappropriate changes to the iPad, it will be easily restored to default.
Step #1: Go to the “Settings” app.Step #2: Tap “General”.Step #3: Tap “Reset”.Step #4: Select “Reset All Settings”.Step #5: Enter the passcode and proceed.
